WISDOM AND INSPIRATIONAL DEVOTIONALS
"Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world" - Ephesians 2:11-12
_______________ If you are a born-again believer in Christ, remembering the sinful and suffering state you were in while you were in an unconverted state without Christ in your life compared to where you are now in Christ should humble and excite your love and thankfulness that you are not where you used to be and who you used to be. We were in a state of darkness and condemnation, shut out from the covenant of grace and promises, having no privileges of enjoying the blessings of God, no true knowledge of God, and no hope of spiritual and eternal blessings. Because of God’s grace and mercy through the blood of His son Jesus, we are now citizens of a community with a common hope that we will come face to face with our Savior, who died for us, and will return for us to take us to our home in glory. Let us look back on our lives with gratitude for God’s mercy and what he has done. If you are not a born-again believer in Christ, what a sad thing it is for a soul to be without Jesus! But it doesn’t have to be. Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and begin your fellowship with God today. ___________ By Gale Henderson. All rights reserved.
