"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death, and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God" - Hebrews 11:5
Enoch the grand-father of Noah loved God. He walked with God every day of his life with a desire to please God. Even in the midst of a wicked and dark world during his time, he proved through his own life that it was possible to live as a bright light in his generation. Enoch's life is an encouragement to us all that we can live a life pleasing to God and as a natural and normal way of life.
Going to bars, night clubs and strip clubs is a natural and normal way of a person's life who does it every day, every weekend, or every chance they get. In the same way, the more you fellowship with God, the more you read and study the word of God, and the more you do the things that are required of you by God will become a natural and normal way of life.
Living for God should be a natural and normal way of life with no thoughts of violating the oath we made to Him when we first stood before Him in godly sorrow, promising that we will do our best to please Him. Oh, how quickly an oath is forgotten!
What’s preventing you from living a life pleasing to God, a life that should by now be a natural and normal way of life?
