"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” - I Thessalonians 5:18
Thanksgiving is a holiday that is observed once a year. It is a day filled with giving thanks for food, friends, family and other things.
For believers in Christ, giving thanks should not be a once a year tradition. It is a duty that should be part of our day to day walk in Christ, especially in the early morning of a new day when we rise from sleep and in the closing of a full day, having made it through toils, snarls and challenges met along the way.
God is the source of all our joy, comfort, aide and the support we now have, and all things that awaits us in heaven through his Son Jesus Christ.
There are many other reasons thanks should be rendered unto the Lord:
Remember to take some time every day during the course of your day, to give thanks to a Good and Gracious God, who loads you with His daily benefits, for this is His will in His Son, Christ Jesus.
