​Recognizing and Resisting The Wiles of The Devil

• 1 Chronicles 21:1 - And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel. 

• John 13:2 - And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him.

• Genesis 39:10-12 - And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.

• 2 Corinthians 2:10-11 - To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

• 1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

• Ephesians 6:11-12 - Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

• James 4:7 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ​
