​Asking God to Point You in The Right Direction

• 2 Samuel 5:22-25 - And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines. And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.

• Exodus 33:13-14 - Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 

• Jeremiah 10:23 – O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. 

• Psalm 119:35 - Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. 

• Psalm 25:4 - Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

• Psalm 86:11 - Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

• Psalm 143:8 - Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
