Responses to Enticements

• Proverbs 16:29 - A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good. 

• Proverbs 1:10, 15-16 - My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not...My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. 

• Proverbs 4:14-17 - Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. 

• Genesis 39:10-12 - And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.  

• Psalm 17:5 - Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
