How The Favor of God is Obtained

• Proverbs 12:2 - A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn. 

• Proverbs 3:3-4 - Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 

• Genesis 39:20-22 - And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison. But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. 

• I Samuel 2:21, 26 - And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD...And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men. 

• Luke 2:52 - And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. 

• Proverbs 8:34-35 - Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
