“(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father know that ye have need of all these things” - Matthew 6:32
_______________ Young lions often seek the help of their parents for food, but are often disappointed because they are not able to supply them what they need. In the same way, children and those who are not capable of going in search of provision for themselves have to depend on their parents or guardian to supply their needs, who are not always able. So there’s lack – lack of provision, lack of support and lack of the things needed for survival. We serve a Living God who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we think, conceive and ask, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” And if He does not give a man what He asks or desires, it is absolutely certain, that it is not that He can’t or is not able to do it, but because He, as our Father has a good reason why it should not be given, just as a parent will have a good reason why He or she does not always give their children what they ask, when they are able to give it. God knows the needs of every one of His children, and will give them what He sees is best for them to have according to His will, His purpose, and their good. And this is what every believer in Christ should desire from God; whatever is good for them to have, and whatever will benefit them the most according to His Will and Purpose for their lives. This will require our trusting God’s judgment and decision in giving us that “good thing” which will not be withheld from those who walk upright in their walk with Christ. Psalm 84:11 - For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. The truth of the matter is, we as human beings are not always the best judge, or make the right decisions when it comes to things that will be for our good. Many have, while there are others as we speak, are reaping consequences for decisions they thought were for their good. If we know God is able to meet anything we can conceive, think and ask, and would rather give us the good thing which will be the best thing that would be more beneficial for us, why would we want anything else? When we trust the LORD for provision and granting the desires of our hearts, we can be sure that all we need we will get, and that what we do not get we do not need. _______________ SUPPORTING SCRIPTURES _______________
