​Peace in a World of Tribulations

Father Which Art in Heaven, 

I come before You with a grateful heart for the peace that is in Your Beloved Son, Jesus—a peace unlike anything I can experience in this world. It is a peace that calms anxious hearts, soothes troubled minds, and provides strength to navigate the storms of life.

Your Word tells us that we will have trouble in this world. We see this truth in sickness, loss, financial pressure, conflict,
and the burdens many people carry each day. Many carry private pain that no one else can see. Yet Your peace can meet us in every place. It can reach us in a hospital room, at a kitchen table, during a difficult workday, or in the stillness of the night. 

Father, help me carry Your peace into my home, my work, and my relationships. When fear rises, remind me to turn my thoughts toward You. When sorrow makes it hard to pray, receive even my smallest words. When I feel worn down, give me the strength to take the next step with faith.

Thank You for the incredible blessing of Your peace. Thank You for reminding me that You have overcome the world. May Your peace remain with me today and each day to come.
