"Every day will I bless you, and I will praise your name for ever and ever." - Psalms 145:2
It is hard to utter a praise unto the Lord when the heaviness of troubles is weighed upon us. We try to re-focus, and we try to move forward. But trouble, distress and despair is still there to taunt us. The body doesn't want to move, and the mouth doesn't want to open. To sleep is a struggle, and when we finally do, we are exhausted from the struggle.
If you are going through something that has shut your mouth from uttering praises unto a good and gracious God, ask the Lord to help unlock the jaws of your mouth, then turn around and declare to the devil, "I will not be silent in my praise." I will bless the Lord at all times, even in what I am going through now. His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
God is a good God when the sun is shining bright, and in the midst of a dark and gloomy night. And because He is an unchangeable God, our praises unto Him should be unchangeable.
