Should the opinions of others determine who you are? First and foremost, your identity in Christ does not depend on something you do or have done. Once you choose to follow Jesus, you become a new creation, the old you passes away and you become who you are in Him (II Corinthians 5:17). Your true identity is who you are in Christ.
God designed you (Psalms 139:14), and knows who you are. Much care was involved when He created you, despite the flaws or defects you may have - everybody has them, whether they are seen or unseen, yet, He sees you as an invaluable member of his church. And if He sees you as invaluable, you must believe within yourself that you are invaluable.
Know, Be and Live who you are in Christ. See yourself as God sees you, and let nothing or what anyone says define who you are, or what you will become contrary to what God says. His opinion is the one that counts.
