Keep On Doing Good

 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith" – Galatians 6:9-10

As children of God, doing good should be a part of your everyday life. Doing good should be done at every opportunity, no matter how many times it comes. Jesus Himself was an example of doing good wherever He went.

"That word, I say, you know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him" - Acts 10:37-38
 
In doing good, it should not be done with favoritism or with racism. Doing good should be done with love and compassion towards all mankind, especially to those who are of the household of faith; whether they are the same color as us, from the same culture as us, live next door to us, or miles away from us. We are to love without seeing the color of one’s skin, as Jesus loved us.

“This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you” – John 15:12

But, nothing could be more discouraging than the ungratefulness from those who are benefiting from the good you are doing, or from those who intend to prevent you from carrying on the good work you are doing.
 
Just as we can expect there will be those who choose to allow themselves to be used by Satan, as an obstacle in your work; we can expect that God, who is a present help in the time of trouble, will stand against them, that you may carry on with your work.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” – Psalm 46:1

Keep on doing good and faint not; for in due season you shall reap a full reward, that is reserved for all the good you have done.
