“I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD” - Psalm 71:16a
Paul the Apostle encouraged the Ephesian church to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might, even when they were faced with trying times and conditions that seem unbearable to handle.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might” – Ephesians 6:10
He encouraged them to be strong, not in their own strength, but in the strength of the Lord and in the power of his might.
In the strength of the Lord there is no challenge you cannot conquer, no trial you cannot bear, no temptation you cannot overcome, and no assignment that cannot be accomplished. You are able to bear the things you think you can’t bear, endure trials you never thought you could endure, stand when you thought you would become weak. The strength of God takes us beyond our own strength
In your own life, you can testify of the many times that if it had not been for the strength of the Lord, you do not know how you would have made it through the toughest times, or how you were able to conquer the strongest enemy, or were able to overcome desirable temptations. Continue on in that same strength, depending on that strength in all things. Rely on the strength of the Lord every day of your life, in every area of your life.
Whatever obstacle, challenges, troubles or hard times you are faced with, meet it and deal with it in the strength of the Lord.
